Pallas is the second-largest asteroid in the solar system — a cosmic rock about 512 kilometers in diameter that orbits the Sun every 4.6 years. In astrology, Pallas represents something missing from traditional planetary symbolism: strategic intelligence. Not the emotional intelligence of the Moon or the communicative agility of Mercury, but the ability to recognize patterns, see connections that escape others, and act from this understanding.

The name comes from Pallas Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and strategic warfare — called Minerva in Roman tradition. Athena was different from the other Olympians.
