Who runs Cosmolytic
Cosmolytic is run by Anonyfox e. K., the Hamburg-based business of Maximilian Stroh. Maximilian is a software developer and built the site himself. You can read more about him at anonyfox.com/.
How the sky data is calculated
Every planet position, aspect, moon phase, retrograde period and event time on this site is calculated by Celestine, an open-source astronomy and astrology library in TypeScript, also written by Maximilian Stroh. The calculations run on our server and in your browser. Nothing is looked up from third-party astrology services.
Celestine publishes its own accuracy page, which compares its results with JPL Horizons and NASA eclipse data: anonyfox.github.io/celestine/accuracy/

How the texts are written
Daily horoscopes, yearly horoscopes and the texts on AstroCards are written by software. A language model from OpenAI receives the calculated sky data together with fixed editorial rules and writes the text. An automated review step then checks the result. These texts are not written or checked by a human astrologer.
The reference pages in the Atlas (planets, signs, houses, aspects, elements, modalities, moon phases and the 78 tarot cards) were written with software support and edited by hand.
Astrology is used here as a language for self-reflection. The site does not claim that it can predict events. The content makes no medical, legal or financial claims and is not a substitute for professional advice.
Languages and hubs
Cosmolytic is available in English, German and Dutch, each with its own URLs. Three language hubs belong to the same offer: stars.cosmolytic.com, sterne.cosmolytic.com and sterren.cosmolytic.com. They sell printable moon calendars and personal yearly planners. All of them are run by Anonyfox e. K.
